Founder & Chairman
Founder and Chairman of Rupani Foundation across Pakistan, Afghanistan, and the United States, and Chairman of the Pakistan Alliance for Early Childhood Education (PAFEC), he has dedicated decades to transforming the lives of vulnerable communities through education, sustainable livelihoods, and community empowerment.
Under his leadership, Rupani Foundation has established over 200 early childhood development centers and academies across Pakistan and Afghanistan, bringing quality early learning to tens of thousands of families in some of the most underserved and hard to reach communities in the region.
His vision for sustainable livelihoods has taken shape through pioneering initiatives including gemstone cutting training centers, fruit tree cultivation, and eco-tourism development across Northern Pakistan and Afghanistan, empowering rural communities both economically and socially while preserving cultural heritage and natural resources.
Beyond South and Central Asia, he serves as Chairman of the Ibn Sina Foundation USA, overseeing a network of community clinics in Houston that have served more than 1.5 million patients, delivering quality healthcare to uninsured and low-income populations with an annual operating budget of approximately $12 million.
Recipient of the Sitara e Khidmat from the President of Pakistan, the U.S. Presidential Volunteer of the Year Award (2021), the GlobalMindED Inclusive Leader Award (2023), and other civic honors for leadership in early childhood education, healthcare, and social innovation.
Driven by the belief that early investments in children and communities yield lifelong returns, he continues to bridge sectors and nations, turning entrepreneurial success into inclusive, lasting development across Pakistan, Afghanistan, and the United States.

Our Programs
Human Capital Development & Education
Rupani Foundation Afghanistan strengthens human capital through Early Childhood Development and vocational skills training programs. Through the AW-IP model, community ECD centers, mobile ECD services, and vocational skills training, RF supports children, youth, and caregivers to improve school readiness, employability, and long-term resilience in fragile communities.
Economic Empowerment & Social Protection
RF promotes inclusive economic growth by supporting small businesses, expanding access to economic opportunities, and strengthening livelihoods. Through incubation services, business mentorship, financial literacy, and Sharia compliant microfinance, the program builds income stability and economic resilience for vulnerable populations, especially women.
Resilience & Sustainable Development
RF implements climate resilience programs that address floods, droughts, land degradation, and water scarcity. Through climate smart agriculture, ecosystem restoration, climate resilient infrastructure, and water security initiatives, RF strengthens community resilience and promotes sustainable environmental and economic outcomes.
Mental Health Support Program
Mental health is the foundation for families to grow, connect, and nurture one another in a positive, supportive environment. When caregivers and children feel emotionally safe and understood, they are better equipped to build strong.
Economic Empowerment
Our Economic Empowerment (EE) Program supports the economic integration and self-sufficiency of underserved populations in the Greater Houston Area, including individuals with Limited English Proficiency (LEP) and New Americans, through a holistic approach.
